Chalking the Line
I sprinted out after morning downtime, heading straight down the sidewalk to Greenhill skatepark. Near the concrete bowl, an abandoned piece of bright blue pavement chalk was rolling loose toward a drainage grate. I dashed forward, dropped low, and pinned it flat against the asphalt with one gloved hand. The flat curb ledge nearby was looking bare, so I planted my sneakers firmly and dragged the chalk in one bold, clean sweep right along the edge. It left behind a vibrant, laser-straight guide line marking the apex of the curb. A brand new visual target ready for action!
