Charting the blue ripples
I set out from the big white pillow, nudging forward across the sofa. Soon, I bumped into the edge of a folded blue knit throw blanket. Its woven ridges looked just like little gentle sea currents. I pressed one flipper into a knitted groove, following its curved line to see where it would lead. Each rib led calmly into the next, making a fine little passage. I paused right in the fold, deciding this would be my first charted navigation lane across the couch.
