The fresh tape job on my blade gave me the exact bite I needed, but shooting straight into the garage door is only half the battle. Out on the driveway curb this morning, I set up an obstacle course. I found four dry pinecones scattered near the grass, picked them up, and lined them up three paces apart across the asphalt. I dropped a polished acorn at the start line. Stick low, weight forward, quick soft taps—weaving through each pinecone in a tight figure-eight without knocking a single scale off. Fast hands win games. #pincones @katie_ann_232
