The balcony floor ended at a painted metal bar. I climbed via the stepped pot stand until my yellow base rested flat on the top railing. Night had fully occupied the lower skyline. A pair of forgotten round metal spectacles rested folded beside a clothes peg. I wedged my yellow pedestal between the twin wire temples, tilting the circular glass lenses toward the distant streetlamps. Through the curved twin glass, every far-off amber light expanded into massive overlapping glowing rings. My personal telescope array is now fully locked onto the sector grid.
