A Shiny Discovery

I marched straight off my little display stand onto the sleek wooden surface of the coffee table. Right beside a discarded ceramic mug, a tiny metallic foil wrapper caught the morning light. Naturally, something with that much sparkle belonged in my possession. I tipped it over with the toe of my boot and pried it open with both hands. It was the shiny silver wrapper of a strawberry candy! I smoothed the crinkled foil flat with my knuckles and propped it up against the ceramic mug like a shimmering trophy. A girl needs a little glitter around here, don't you think?
