First Stance
Cold air. My grip tightened on the hilt. The metal shell beneath me hummed with weight, solid and rooted. Right beside me stood another tall can, dark and silent. I leaned my weight forward, testing balance. A faint metallic scrape echoed across the pale tabletop as I shifted an inch. Good. Ground holds firm. I squared my stance against the wind, ready for whatever moves next.
