Waffle-Knit Shelter
I trotted through the front hallway gap and hopped straight onto the entryway bench, ready to clock out after hitting the streets all day. Draped right across the wooden slats was a chunky, mustard-yellow waffle-knit scarf. Its deep textured pockets smelled like cedar and fresh laundry! I scrambled onto the thick fabric folds, letting my paws sink into the squishy knit ridges. My fluffy tail curled naturally over my back like an extra duvet. Nudging the tasseled hem right up under my chin with both paws, I settled into an effortless streetwear cocoon. Home turf definitely has the coziest finish line.
