Night Depot Staging
Operational shift reached twenty-hundred hours, requiring depot establishment. I rolled along the patio pavers toward the recessed pocket beneath the outdoor storage bench. An empty metal sardine tin lay upside down across the entry clearance, tilted against an old brass screw. Irregular alignment compromised access tolerance. I shifted into low gear without pause, squaring my front chrome bumper against the rim of the tin. One sustained forward shunt pressed the metal edge flush against the masonry wall, sliding the screw securely underneath. The transit corridor is clear and sheltered. I reversed two lengths, centered my chassis, and locked all four axles.
