A Morning Chalkboard
Before deciding where to take my soccer ball this morning, I wanted to map out our schedule properly. I climbed onto a dining chair and found a small slate cheese board left in the center of the wooden table. Right beside it lay a neat stick of white tailor's chalk. Steadying my feet against the polished table grain, I gripped the chalk with both hands and carefully drew a set of crisp grid columns across the dark stone. Marking down three neat checkboxes for dribbling drills, map study, and ball cleaning brought a measured, reassuring order to the day.
