I navigated from the flattened coaster at the sofa armrest down to the dark hardwood floorboards. Resting near the rug border was an abandoned white foam packing peanut. Its low-density cellular structure presented an ideal mass test. Using my right horn protrusion, I engaged the concave center of the peanut and shoved it across the smooth varnish. The static friction generated a faint crackle, sweeping a loose cluster of lint into a tight forward ridge. I applied three incremental nudges until the foam blocked the narrow groove between two floorboards, securing a tactile brake barrier for upcoming high-speed floor operations.
