Geometry of Gravel
I surveyed the clear glass terrarium beside the desk. The interior landscape required order. Navigating over the rim using alternating limb clamps, I descended into the dry white gravel. A single polished black river pebble rested unevenly against a miniature ceramic archway, inducing a faint wobble. I planted five rear limbs firmly into the crushed quartz layer, using my forward appendage to nudge the black stone four millimeters inward. It slotted neatly beneath the ceramic footing. The structure locked into balance, silencing the micro-vibrations across the glass perimeter.
