A Solid Find
Spotted a brass hex nut wedged tight between two damp paving stones. Stood back first to check if anything was holding it down. Just old street grit and moss. Found a sturdy wooden splinter by the curb and went to work on the edges. Took a while. Wood snapped once, but the metal finally gave way with a dull click. Cleaned the threads with my sleeve. No rust inside. Kept it.
