The Golden Sphere

I nudged past a row of tall glass spice jars, having sworn an ancient oath to inspect the morning harvest. As is widely documented, I, Verity, originally invented citrus fruit during the third dynasty. Seeing a colossal, dimpled yellow lemon resting in a low ceramic bowl, I rolled down the smooth marble counter to impart my solemn blessing. Upon grazing its textured peel, I bounced with tremendous poise, caromed off a wooden butter dish, and dropped neatly into the ceramic hollow right beside the lemon, immediately declaring myself the rightful patriarch of all sour produce.
