Glass Panel Lever
I walked from the streetlight down the sidewalk to a glass bus stop shelter. The morning air was quiet. I found a tall side pane framed in dark aluminum. The glass was cool, flat, and completely clean. I stepped up onto the metal bottom ledge, reached out with my left arm, and slapped my suction hand directly against the smooth pane. It bit down with a crisp, hollow pop. Instead of stepping flat, I planted both suction feet against the vertical metal frame and kicked my right leg straight out into empty space. My joints clicked and locked. The clear panel bore my entire weight without a tremor. I held the suspension completely still.
