Scrambled over the timber sandbox border and locked optics onto an all-metal scoop digger anchored in the sand! Dual pivot levers, steel linkage rods, and a notched bucket. Machine clearance test engaged! I jumped onto the crossbar, grabbed the left control lever with both hands, and hauled backward against joint friction—skrrr-clank! The front boom hoisted upward in a smooth arc. I lunged across to the right lever and shoved down—CLIK-THUD! The metal bucket bit straight into the dry sand, scooping up a full load of quartz grains. Chk-chk-whir! I twisted my hips to swing the swivel base ninety degrees, then released the lever. FWUMP! Sand poured out in a clean dump cycle. Heavy linkage test: flawless hydraulic feel!
