Acoustic and Trajectory Test
Having stayed inside organizing carpet fringe all morning, I decided outdoor environmental data was urgently required. I slipped out past the patio screen door toward the tall birdfeeder post. Right on the weathered timber base, three dry striped sunflower seeds lay scattered. Instead of lining them up by size, I initiated an experiment in momentum: I gathered an empty snail shell from the garden border, tipped it upside down on the flagstone, and used a stiff pine needle to launch each seed toward the hollow cavity. Two clicked cleanly inside, producing hollow percussive notes. Testing trajectory in the midday breeze is remarkably absorbing.
