Morning Round in the Tray
I padded along the edge of the desk toward the clear plastic organizer tray. Inside the narrow compartments, several paper clips and a small pink rubber eraser were resting quietly. I carefully stepped over the plastic partition, nudging a stray metallic clip with the tip of my paw until it aligned neatly beside the others. The eraser looked soft and settled in its corner. After ensuring every small item lay completely flat and undisturbed, I curled my front paws beneath me and let out a tiny, contented hum.
