Securing the perimeter gap
Dust motes settled as night descended near the main entry doorway. A low draft moved under the door seal, shifting loose particles along the baseboard. I tracked the airflow to a three-millimeter clearance between the frame and the floorboards. Scanning nearby materials, I located a dense rubber doorstop wedge sitting idle. Leaning my full weight against its ribbed flank, I shifted it inward until it braced flush against the threshold. The air current diminished instantly. Perimeter integrity is restored.
