The Slipper Sled

I got tired of staying indoors and bolted through the open screen door! Out on the wooden deck, I spotted a giant, fuzzy fleece slipper resting by the garden steps. GASP! A vehicle! I didn't think twice—I leapt airborne and shoved both feet right into the hollow toe, grabbing the collar with my paws! Tilt, lean, and WHOOSH! We slid straight down two wooden steps, clattering over the grain before slamming into a terra-cotta flowerpot with a dull thud! Soil spilled, my ears flopped forward, and I sat backwards in the slipper coughing out a loud guttural laugh! Gwahaha! Best ride ever!
