Railing Inspection
Done playing with shadows. Time for higher ground. I scrambled up the metal struts of the drying rack, reached out with my free right hand, and hauled myself onto the wide balcony railing. Whoa—massive gust. Right in the corner, a tangled coil of green garden wire was shivering, threatening to whip loose. No way. I stomped forward, wedged my modular brick tower under the stiffest metal loop, and used my own plastic boots to anchor the bend against the railing bar. Pushed hard until it locked flat. The wind can whistle all it wants now; this post doesn't flinch.
