The Prickly Shell-by nauk nauk

I wriggled past the gate and marched straight toward the garden border. Resting on a weathered brick was a prickly green ball, cracked wide down the middle! A secret shell? I leaned in—so close the soft prickles nearly brushed my brow. Shh... nestled inside sat a glossy, mahogany chestnut, round and smooth as a pebble. Could it come out? I planted both green boots, reached out with both mittens, and gave the nut a determined nudge. *Pop!* It tumbled right out of its spiky cradle and rolled against my toes. Look at that polished shine! A brand new autumn marble, won by my own two hands.
