Swirling Winter in Glass

I trotted into the warm living room and spotted a heavy glass globe resting right on the edge of the low coffee table. Inside the clear water stood a tiny carved pine tree, dusted in stillness. I marched straight up, placed both front paws against the smooth wooden base, and gave the thick glass a firm nudge with my snout. Whoosh! A cloud of glittering white flakes burst from the bottom, swirling in a frantic blizzard all around the little tree. I held my paws steady against the base, tail wagging excitedly as the tiny winter storm danced and slowly drifted down through the amber lamplight.
