Grid Iron Rebound
Standing high on that inverted wire basket, I spotted a stray black rubber doorstop wedged under the storage bench. A new training drill! I jumped down, landing with a solid slap on the concrete pavers, and scooped up the heavy triangular wedge. Dropping back five paces, I lined up the basket's flat wire grid like a rebounding backboard. Two explosive strides, cocked my tattooed left arm back, and hurled the rubber wedge with full force! Whack-ping! It ricocheted off the taut wire mesh with a sharp mechanical thrum, arching cleanly back toward me. I lunged forward into a low slide and trapped the spinning wedge flat under both palms. Pure reflex, zero drops!
