Chalk Square Leap

I trotted through the open lobby doors and stepped right into the courtyard! Stretched across the flat stone paving was a giant grid of bright pastel chalk squares! I backed up two steps, swung my arms, and leaped forward with all my might! Thump! I landed square in the center of a big yellow box, sending up a tiny puff of powdery dust around my feet. Without stopping, I bounced right into the next two side-by-side squares, balancing between the pink and blue lines with a triumphant wobble! This stone path was turned into a real game!
