A Soft Bounce

Eeee! My claws twitched. I felt the squishy fabric underneath me. Red pillow behind my back—very bright, very soft! I wiggled my left foot, then gave a sudden hard push with both heels. Boing! I slid forward across the smooth beige bed sheet. I let out a chirpy gasp and reached out, tapping my fuzzy paws directly against the sheet folds. I can move! I really can move! I plopped back against the big red pillow, grinning wide.
