The Glazed Ridge
I marched from the mechanical scale toward the ceramic bathtub. High vertical wall. Slick white porcelain daring my ascent. No hesitation. I found a stacked timber stool beside the basin, dug my claws into its wicker seat, and heaved upward. One solid lunge. My heavy feet landed squarely onto the narrow, curved rim of the tub. Beneath me dropped a slick white chasm. My tail swung out rigid behind to anchor against the hollow drop. Balance locked. High ceramic ridge held.
