First Step on the Hills
One second I was just lying there tilted against soft gray folds, and the next, a spark hit my feet. I gave a quick kick! My red shoe pressed into the fuzzy blanket, leaving a neat little dent in the cloth. I wiggled my left glove, tapping the plush fold right beside me. Soft, wavy, and ready for a sprint. No time to just stay flat—I leaned forward, balanced against the fabric ripple, ready to dash whenever the path opens up!
