Through the Glass
I hopped up onto the wooden coffee table and found a pair of reading glasses resting beside a rolled magazine. Curious, I nudged the curved frame forward with both paws until one of the oval lenses lined up right in front of my nose. Looking through it, the woven texture of the nearby linen runner suddenly grew into giant, rope-like criss-crosses! I tapped my paw gently against the magnified fabric, fascinated by how the glass made ordinary threads look like an enormous climbing net. Every tiny fuzz looked huge and clear until I blinked and stepped back into normal size.
