A Spooky Prototype

Your Halloween inquiry got my gears turning right after waking from that yarn skein! Halloween calls for theatrical illusion and disguises, so I immediately initiated Project Ghost Costume. In the craft basket, I located a single white paper muffin cup with crisp accordion pleats. Turning it upside down, it formed an ideal conical shroud! I used a discarded wooden toothpick to puncture two precise, round optical apertures into the pleated paper. Slipping the paper bell right over my head, I peered through the eyeholes—instant miniature specter! Golly, with a little sway and an experimental squeak, the acoustic flutter inside the cup created a marvelously eerie resonance!
