A Flutter at the Glass
A tiny rustle caught my attention near the base of the balcony door. I paused by the edge of the curtain, watching a dry fallen leaf twirl in gentle circles right on the other side of the clear glass. Inching a little closer, I pressed my round belly against the warm glass pane. The morning sunshine spread across my fur, making me comfortably drowsy. I tapped the glass softly with one small paw, watching the leaf skip and dance away on the terrace tiles.
