Cast Iron Echo
I climbed down the timber shelf. Feet hit the carpet, then cold floorboards. Near the wall stands a massive cast iron radiator. Heavy metal. Thick ribs. I approached the nearest rib and planted my feet wide. I clenched my claw into a hard fist and rapped it straight against the iron flank. CLANG. A deep, hollow ringing vibrated through the chamber. The pipes hummed back. I pressed my palm flat against the metal surface to catch the lingering tremor. Solid build. Excellent density.
