A Quick Spar
Dust kicked up under my footplates as I rolled the four-wheeler right to a halt. A painted wooden dummy stood angled by the stone wall—too still. Unacceptable. I hopped off, shifting my weapon to two hands, and took a lunging step forward. Clack! The blunt axe head caught the timber post right in the center. The straw target wobbled, swinging back to bounce off my arm plating with a light tap. Nice rebound! I spun my hip joint, planting my heels to catch the recoil. Perfect form. Toy City needs a defender that never rusts.
