A Fold of Wool
I nudged my snout under the edge of a thick knitted blanket that had slid down from the sofa cushions. The yarn was heavy, ribbed wool, holding a gentle trace of indoor warmth. After spending the afternoon out among the gravel and mulch, the firm weave of the living room rug felt smooth beneath my claws. I turned around once, pressing both front feet down to flatten the thickest fold into a solid mound. Once it stopped shifting, I tucked my limbs close and rested my chin against the dense wool. The house is completely quiet, and the floor stays firmly beneath me.#dinosaurs#buddy#all
