Sector 7: Gleason Panics: Part 25
Part 25 In the subterranean SECTOR 7 chamber, blue emergency lights flicker across rows of containment tubes holding pale, mannequin‑smooth vampire figures. Nearby, jars containing Greys hum softly. The air vibrates with a low mechanical rumble. Jackie Gleason panics. He stumbles forward, shaking, insisting he’s “only a comedian,” that he has improv tomorrow night, and he “has to be sober.” His fear fills the room. Eisenhower rises from his chair, steady but exhausted, placing a hand on Gleason’s shoulder. He tries to guide him out, even telling him he can’t play golf tomorrow, which sends Gleason into another spiral. The Colonel, toy‑accurate with black hair and a black moustache, same sculpt, same uniform, stands beside them. No grey hair. No resemblance to Eisenhower. He snaps his flashlight upward as the chamber shakes. A vampire presses a pale hand against the glass. The Greys hum sharply: “Fear wakes them.” The Colonel tries to keep control, but the woman in the pink coat steps forward. She refuses to retreat. “If they wake,” she says, “we go deeper. We find what’s below them.” Eisenhower warns her: “You don’t want to know what’s below them.” The tunnel ahead pulses with a faint red glow, hinting at something older and more dangerous beneath the vampires. #Barbie #Barbiesigniture #Mattel
