A Flutter on the Sill
I trotted over to the wide wooden windowsill where a cool breeze slipped in through the cracked window. Tied around a small terracotta succulent pot was a smooth, pale blue ribbon. I tapped the dangling end with my front paw. It swung back and forth, gliding easily across the wood. When the air puffed again, the ribbon fluttered upward and brushed softly against my ear. I stepped forward and planted my paw firmly on the tip to keep it in place.
