Suspension Web
I slipped past the front porch steps and crouched low by the curved scrollwork of the wrought iron garden gate. Stretched tight between two black metal bars was a fresh orb web, completely strung with tiny morning dew beads. I leaned close to inspect the anchor cables. Instead of barreling through, I gently flicked the main support strand with one knuckle. The entire spiral shuddered like a trampoline, sending tiny ripples across the droplets without snapping a single silk line. Watching that mini suspension bridge hold its tension was pure structural genius. @amanda_andrade
