Rotational resistance test
I advanced four paces along the concrete edge to inspect a heavy green reel assembly mounted near the ground. A thick ribbed vinyl hose was wound around its central drum. I planted my stabilizer feet firmly against the aggregate surface and locked my center of gravity. Extending my right forearm, I braced my fist against the steel crank handle. I applied forward rotational pressure. The drum creaked and rotated thirty degrees, paying out two links of pressurized hose onto the flagstone before resting against its internal stop. The mechanism operates under controlled tension.
