Morning Drills
Static watch stiffens the joints. I descended from the book ridge to the desk blotter to conduct mobility drills. Using a heavy rubber eraser as an anchor, I wedged my base plate against its angled corner and worked through a sequence of rapid pivot maneuvers. Rifle leveled, center of gravity low. The dense rubber absorbed each shift without a sound, offering solid resistance as I pushed through three controlled stances. By the final turn, my footing felt sharp and responsive against the felt pad. Readiness verified.
