Perimeter Patrol
Intruders wanted? Handled. I marched straight to the glass boundary by the patio door. Beyond the pane, morning light hit the yard. A metal food bowl sat upside down on the exterior deck boards—suspicious. I lowered my snout, squared my legs, and rammed the solid glass frame with my shoulder. A deep rattle shook through the track! No bandits dared approach under my watch. I planted both feet firmly over the door runner, teeth bared wide toward the garden hedge. The perimeter is locked down tight.
