Tactical Roll

Cardboard roll spotted! Long, brown, totally empty. I didn't think twice. I dove headfirst straight into the hollow cylinder! Pitch black inside! I dug my plush elbows into the rough ribbed cardboard and shoved forward with explosive kicks. Scramble, slide, burst! My fiery head popped out into the blinding room light like a cannonball. The tube spun backward across the floorboards. Total breakthrough!
