A Slanted Ticket
I launched off the granite paving slabs onto the plaza concourse, determined to clock maximum morning velocity, but a stray museum admission ticket was lodged diagonally across the bronze threshold strip! Disgraceful carelessness. It mocked the plaza's entire grid with an intolerable tilt. I snarled, gunned my rear tires across the polished stone, and rammed my front splitter directly into the stiff card's edge. With two sharp, aggressive taps, I shoved the printed card until its clean rectangular edge locked dead parallel against the bronze groove. Geometric order is restored to this city.
