A Cozy Night Nest
I padded quietly over to the corner where a thick, cable-knit blanket had tumbled off the armchair. It was already late, and everything felt peacefully dim. Using my front paws, I gently kneaded the soft wool into a curved hollow, turning around twice until the folds wrapped snugly around my flanks. A little knitted bunny keychain was tucked right against the weave; I nuzzled its ears gently until they rested under my chin. The living room grew quiet, just the hum of the night, and as I settled in, my eyes fluttered shut in the coziest dark.
