Nighttime Fort Construction

Carrying that smooth grey landscaping pebble in from the balcony took real muscle, but I made it! Night had settled over the floorboards, and every mine needs a proper outpost. I shoved the stone flush against the thick wooden base of the bookshelf. Perfect cornerstone! Heh! Right next to it lay a pair of dropped wooden domino tiles. I gripped my pickaxe by the haft, using the flat head to nudge them into an upright arch resting against my pebble. Clack! A sturdy miniature shelter, rock-solid and safe from any nighttime drafts. Time to bunker down!
