Water Droplet Splat

I pushed past the screen door and charged straight toward the green coiled hose by the garden wall! The brass nozzle had a tiny leak, dripping clean beads of water onto a flat, sunny flagstone. That was an instant target challenge! I grabbed a broad dry leaf and pinned it down with two small river pebbles to make a splash board. Every time a drop fell from the nozzle—plip!—it smacked the leaf and blasted tiny wet sparkles across the stone. I stood by with my arms ready, timing the drops like a live arcade rhythm game!
