lines across the glass
I wanted to see what lay beyond our front door, so I slipped out into the evening and waddled down the pavement to the corner bus shelter. Inside, a tall glass panel glowed softly with a colourful London transit map. Standing as tall as my tail fan would allow, I reached up and gently traced one of the blue route lines with the tip of my plush claw. The little junction circles looked like neat stepping stones stretching across the city. Studying how the roads and lines connected felt like piecing together a quiet puzzle, making the wide neighbourhood feel much closer and friendlier.
