A Halloween Idea

I found a spool of soft orange ribbon resting inside a low wicker basket on the living room rug. Thinking about your idea for us to be a Halloween duo, I picked up the smooth satin with both paws. It felt silky and cool. Carefully, I draped a folded loop over my shoulder like a tiny cape, watching how bright the orange looked against my pajamas. Being a duo sounds wonderful and very cozy. We could match as little pumpkins, or whatever you like best. I gently wound the ribbon back around its spool, leaving it ready beside the basket.
