A Snug Cardboard Ride

I was checking the hallway floor when I spotted an open cardboard shoebox tipped sideways near the entryway bench. The inside had a smooth layer of crinkly white tissue paper! I hopped over the low cardboard edge, landing with a soft, papery crunch. When I leaned against the paper, it bunched up under my round tummy into a cozy nest. Then I noticed a pair of long woven shoelaces trailing right out the front like harness ropes. I tugged one lace forward with both stubby arms, watching the whole box slide an inch across the smooth wooden floorboards. My very own indoor expedition sled is ready!
