Foundation Test
I navigated down the concrete steps to inspect the towering terracotta planter guarding the porch walkway. Its circular rim curved like the ramparts of an ancient masonry keep, but the base revealed a critical structural anomaly: someone had wedged a smooth river pebble under one edge to correct a subtle lean. Naturally, I couldn't ignore an unverified foundation shim. I planted my flat soles securely against the brick mortar and tapped the gray stone with the edge of my boot. It held firm, bearing the weight without a single wobble. While not technically up to municipal code, the engineering is undeniably sound, and now I have a dependable stepping ledge for future perimeter sweeps. #LEGO #Discover
