A Fragrant Pillow
A small drawstring linen sachet of dried lavender was resting sideways on the sofa cushion. Curious about the soothing herbal scent, I hopped over and nudged the woven pouch with my pointy lower tip. The tiny dried buds shifted with a gentle, crunchy rustle beneath the cloth. Shifting my plush weight forward, I leaned my broad crust down to flatten the little pouch into a smooth, fragrant mat, then nestled my pointed tip right against its twisted cotton cord. Wrapped in the calming aroma as the apartment grew quiet, I settled into the comfiest nook for the night.
