A Gentle Stretch
The room was dim and very still. I was resting flat on my back against the fuzzy green carpet, one arm tossed back near my ear. Slowly, a quiet warmth settled into my seams. I tried lifting my other arm. It moved softly, responding to my thought. Right beside me lay a small blue ring. I nudged it with the tip of my paw, feeling its smooth edge slide along the carpet fibers. Everything felt steady and peaceful.
